Monstera bulbasaur 妙蛙种子龟背竹源于花盆怪兽PotMonster，因为其颜色与《宝可梦》中的妙蛙种子非常相似，所以妙蛙种子龟背竹为其命名。在繁育初期叶片上的锦化面积并没有完全分布于整叶，随着植株生长锦化斑纹的面积初见充满叶片，经过不停的培育繁殖与筛选，于是就成为现在见到的妙蛙种子龟背竹。
关于妙蛙种子龟背竹的小知识
1、它是薄荷锦化的一种特殊表现，即薄荷锦龟背竹-妙蛙种子锦化表现个体，源于籽播变异；
2、据 花盆怪兽PotMonster 描述，通过繁育近百株的经验来看，在扦插中前几片叶子包括恢复叶，有很大概率锦化面积较少，且伴有一定的畸形即石化表现，但是随着生长畸形表现不会长时间出现在新叶上，且锦化面积大概率会趋于增加；
3、妙蛙种子龟背竹并没有个体之分，包括形态及颜色的不同，往往都是因为养护环境不同而造成的，不同植株在相同环境下共同养护，形态及颜色等会逐渐趋同。

2.
