Monstera devil monster 国内通常称为“薄荷芯片龟背竹”，大概由于其叶面纹理酷似电路纹理而得此名。目前位置也许依然是价格最为昂贵的锦化龟背竹，不难推测其生长速度应该非常缓慢，据传言起源于国内。
恶魔怪物龟背竹是薄荷锦龟背竹的一种个体，它的成熟叶片形似肋骨，裂叶较深，具有一定畸形表现，目前所见到开洞通常只有一排，锦化部分延主脉和次级叶脉分布，中间白色，靠近叶片边缘呈绿色。需要注意的是该龟背竹并非所有叶片都是呈现大面积的白色锦化，偏绿色或者近似全绿的叶片依然会出现，尚不清楚影响它显色的关键因素是什么。
