Monstera oceana 海洋龟背竹，名字上非常容易与 Monstera ocean mint 混肴，他们是完全不同的两种龟背竹。海洋龟背竹源自 Mike D'Andrea，由 Logan Conley 为其命名并销售。因为其叶片的纹理像海浪和海洋的泡沫而得名。
海洋龟背竹是一种较为特殊的锦化龟背竹，为短茎龟背竹籽播变异个体，叶片上基本不会出现大面积的斑块杂色，取而代之的细碎的溅射点状黄色斑纹，叶片扭曲畸形，且每片叶子畸形样子较为随机，形状延续性无规律。生长速度缓慢，开背时间需要比较久，非常少见开洞。
2024年内，突然流行“闪电”、“霹雳”这个名字，经大量信息翻阅，其中绝大部分表现均与M. oceana高度相似或完全一致，其锦化密度与块状斑纹面积大小均较为随机，不能以某一两片叶片表现做品种论述，是否有特殊表现类型缺乏足够信息支撑，在遇到“闪电”等名称时及表示 M. oceana。
Monstera oceana, ocean monstera, is very easy to be confused with Monstera ocean mint in name. They are two completely different monstera varieties. Monstera oceana originated from Mike D'Andrea and was named and sold by Logan Conley. It is named because the texture of its leaves is like waves and ocean foam.
Monstera Oceana is a relatively special variegated monstera. It is a seed-grown mutant of short-stemmed monstera. There are basically no large patches of variegated colors on the leaves. Instead, there are fine spattered dotted yellow markings. The leaves are twisted and deformed, and the deformed appearance of each leaf is relatively random, and the shape continuity is irregular. The growth rate is slow. It takes a relatively long time for the leaves to split open, and it is very rare to have holes.
In 2024, the names "Lightning" and "Thunderbolt" suddenly became popular. After reviewing a large amount of information, most of their manifestations are highly similar or completely consistent with M. oceana. The variegation density and the size of the blocky markings are relatively random. One cannot discuss the variety based on the performance of one or two leaves. There is a lack of sufficient information to support whether there are special manifestation types. When encountering names such as "Lightning", it means M. oceana.
